co-founded BetterWorldTG and serves as robotics engineer specialized in IA. Carles earned a graduate in Computer Engineering with a concentration in AI from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 1997 and holds two undergraduate degrees in Mathematics from the same university. Prior to joining this group Carles worked as software engineer and researcher at GTD, Sail-Labs, Hewlett Packard and E2M. His participation in different projects such are Unmanned Aircraft Vehicles, Real-time video processing or behavior profiling for companies like EADS, BOEING, AIRBUS, La Caixa,… confers to Carles a dilated experience in high software engineering technology projects related to Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. Also, he has served as development lead in several technological start-ups in USA, Canada and Barcelona.

Antonio Castellón co-founded BetterWorldTG
and serves as robotics engineer specialized in
mechanical and demining systems assets. Degree in
Computer Systems Technical Engineer in 1999 by the Universitat
Autonoma de Barcelona. Prior to joining this
group Antonio worked as IT Manager and software engineer at
GTD. His participation in
different projects such are GIS development software, datafusion systems and
software development, Industrial control systems, artificial intelligent (AI)
systems based on inference or behavior profiling
for companies like ESA (European Space Agency), GAMESA
and Europeean Projects related to Humanitarian Demining:
DEMAND, ARC
(Airbone Minefield Area Reduction)
[ref-1]
[ref-2]. In this latest project he
was able to see very closely the problems of humanitarian demining,
becoming our expert in that field.

Jesus M. Vila co-founded BetterWorldTG and serves as robotics engineer specialized in electronic systems. Degree in Electrical Technical Engineer in 1991 by the Basc Country University with a concentration in Electronics, undergraduate in expert systems, neuronal networks, design of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICS), instrumentation and others. An 15 years experienced Electronical and Software Engineer with a proven track record of success within various global organizations (GTD, EDS, Siemens, …). A diverse selection of professional responsibilities, including all aspects of design, build, installation, training and support, as well as project management. Proven experience in process engineering applying real time technologies for communication, control and monitoring, with PC based technologies, PLCs and SCADAS, motor speed and positioning control at heavy industry. Also dilated experience as analist, architect and project manager on internet projects, participating in international project team development, at the design and implementation of a training system for Defense Industry, and internet educational frameworks among others.
